Streaming media image via Shutterstock.Real estate marketing technology company Imprev Inc. is offering a new video-creation tool that allows real estate professionals to create videos built from their listing photographs, along with customized text and music.
The "Build Your Own" video tool, announced today, is designed to be simple and easy, with the ability to create photo-sourced videos in just minutes, Imprev said.
"Video is the world's most powerful, pervasive and persuasive medium," said Renwick Congdon, CEO of Imprev, in a statement. Congdon says the product is, in part, a response to video's increasing role in search engine optimization.
The video-production tool is accessed from Imprev's website, where videos can be built using a user's own photos and music or with those available in Imprev's stock photo and music libraries. Once created, the videos can be published directly to YouTube or Vimeo, shared on social media, embedded in email or linked to from a user's website.
"Agents have better things to do than spend hours editing a one-minute home tour," Congdon said. "This makes it fast and surprisingly simple to create a finished, high-quality, mobile-ready video."
The tool will cost $299 a year for unlimited videos and be available starting Aug. 15 at Imprev's new video page on its website.
In June, Imprev released a social media-focused ePostcard product. In May, the East Coast multiple listing service Metropolitan Regional Information Systems (MRIS) selected Imprev to run its new integrated marketing center.

YIKES. Calling a slide show and filler music a video is like winking at a girl in the dark. The results are lousy because same old MLS images used to waste the buyer's time. And then wonder why they flit, have been fibbed to. And go off looking for real full motion video, real natural helpful audio track for the perfect sight and sound helpful time saving two punch combination.
