Location: Malibu, Calif.
Price: $45 million
The Skinny: The massive mansions of the Malibu bluffs rarely disappoint, and this Mediterranean-style white stucco number is no different. Listed for an eye-watering $45 million, the 11,300-square-foot spread presides over 6.6 acres with 339 feet of private waterfront, surrounded by 12-foot walls and gates. The views, of course, are spectacular, stretching from Catalina to Point Dume, and the grounds have been laid with resort-like tiled paths to allow residents to stroll along the length of the bluff. In fact, the whole tile thing has found its way inside the sprawling seven-bedroom, nine-bath house as well, flooring the double-height foyer and a glassed-in dining nook. Back outside, further fancy blue tiles coat a waterfall that spills into the pool.
