SFR / Short Sale Foreclosure Resource & Your Vigilant Partner,zz As both a Short Sale listing, selling & negotiating agent plus over 6 years experience evaluating and pricing REO assets I know my concern to consider all aspects of the asset including location, subdivision / neighborhood, physical age, functional utility, all the criteria I use to price a listing or advise my buyer when making an offer...the identical criteria appaisers consider & weigh, this 'concern' for the client is foremost. I do this everyday and that is why I do what I do, this is the way I can help. The REALTORS Code of Ethics may have dropped 'fair' from their wording yet we do this to be fair, equal, informed & on top of our market. BPOs are more current & more fair in a lot of ways than an appraisal & certainly now that appraisers from outside areas are assigned to evaluate. That decision doesn't make a heck of alot of sense. I respond from a unique area that is a beach resort area, 97%+- second homes & investment property! They don't know our area and this is UNfair, we should demand BPOs.
