That is interesting information Victor but I seriously doubt that less than 50 websites is enough to give accurate data. "Phoenix real estate" is searched approximately 300,000 time a month. I do agree that design is important. The most important design aspect of a real estate website site should be the Search Function. As the search is where most of you visitors will be. I really don't think all the templates sites are that bad looking, although some are horrid. I would have to say it's more about usability than design. Jerry Mosher - REASEO

A few links on your site to other websites will have little to no effect on your sites PageRank. I wouldn't go and put links to your competitors pages or anything like that but if a another site is useful to your sites visitors there is no reason not to link to it. The only time your outbound links will have a negative effect on your websites ranking is if you excessively link to sites that the search engines define as spammy or bad neighborhoods, or if you have so many links on a page that the engines classify it as a directory page or link farm. Think about the way you browse the internet. I follow links to other sites all the time and in most cases I come back. Most of the sites that I visit every day are sites that link out to other sources of information.
