Using API requires advanced tech team, sorry about that. While I'm here though I'm interested in the data that "buyers are flocking to search experiences that mirror the humanized way they find much simpler things like a good place to get dinner." Is there a public study on that available? G. Dewald | Thoughtfaucet Let's Make Things People Like

  • While it's always nice to

While it's always nice to hear about the features of your product, Jackie, what you're raising is really only important _after_ the questions in my column have been answered. Especially the platform one because to take advantage of a solution that involves tapping an API requires a fairly advanced API. I would think you'd have better luck pitching at the vendor level: baking it into existing real estate search products instead of trying to insert it into questions that agents/brokers ask one another. • Rob: I don't think Brad
    By Gahlord Dewald | ThoughtfaucetNovember 28, 2012 - 11:10am

Rob: I don't think Brad Inman is anti-agent. You'd have to ask him. RE_Leader: Laws, ethics and standards are by definition codified already. Turning the policy code into computer code is a relatively trivial matter. And interesting take on this subject is Lawrence Lessig's book Code. Very enjoyable read as well. Larry: Interesting you should ask. Yes. There's a company called Narrative Science which turns all manner of data into very well written articles. Several newspaper financial and sports sections have already been turned over to such software. Chances are good you have already purchased and read such pieces. But I do get your point. And I would like to re-iterate that I don't think software will replace people in the real estate agent business. Nor do I think it should. Who would pay my fat consulting fee if it did? ;) G.
