Appraisal Institute v. Appraisal Foundation

On September 1, a decision of The Appraisal Foundation (TAF), with respect to the conduct of the Appraisal Institute was handed down, as it related to their sponsorship of an amendment to FInancial Institutions Reform, Recovery, and Enforcement Act of 1989 Title XI (FIRREA).

The Appraisal Institute was one of The Appraisal Foundation (TAF) original founding members. The Appraisal Institute has now withdrawn from sponsorship of the Appraisal Foundation.
