Alphabet soup - what the #@$% do all those real estate acronymns mean?!?!

Ever wonder what all those abbreviations mean behind a real estate professional’s signature? We did too, which is why for the past year we have collected all designations and their definitions/criteria that have come across our radar. We call this list “Alphabet Soup”.

The list below may be useful to you; if you find any designations we’re missing, please add a comment to this post with as much info as you can and we’ll keep on top of updating the content. If you are re-posting this list, please give credit where credit is due and link back to Goomzee's Mobile Marketing Blog.

Wow it sure can take a long time to build up a position in this business however the pay off is knowing how much you help other people build high quality lives through property ownership.

A lot of the designations I find myself thinking of what the letters stand for or could if I was tired and in a humorous mood. I like the TSTH certification bests. You don't see it on many signatures. (Tough Skinned, Tender Hearted) We deal with folks in a very emotional purchase or sale of property and this one helps along with the "R"... the hardest working letter of the alphabet.

Thanks for the information. Although I am a staunch supporter for high quality education, I decided to wait a year or two until delving into getting acronyms placed after my name. Clients seem be more concerned about my customer service and follow up, as well as my being able to accurately and intelligently answer their questions.

Thanks,

James Vasquez
